All eyes are on Ron Paul this month

Republican Ron Paul has been snubbed by his own party by not given a slot to speak at the upcoming Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida later this month. Paul is often on opposing sides of the Republican Party, however has garnered a large, committed following of supporters across the nation. The convention will determine who is the Republican Party’s nominee for President of the United States, and that person will be running against Barack Obama and Gary Johnson in the November 6, 2012 general election. Ron Paul is currently a member of Congress and is not running for his Texas district and has plans to retire should he not receive the party’s nomination.
